An arm of Abu Dhabi’s sovereign wealth, Mubadala Capital, has acquired a significant minority stake in Silver Rock Financial LP, a Los Angeles-based credit asset management firm overseeing more than $10 billion in assets.     • If a trillion dollars is heading into the media space to acquire a piece of the royalties, do I want to start investing in music and film library funds, or do I want to find creatives to back? Does this change the motivation for creatives to sell all their rights to distributors/streamers? Does that increase momentum on D2C?

      So much to work out on a proposition that starts with, IF.
